In the Marhamat District of Andijan Region, three teenagers knocked down a speed camera device and threw it into a canal. This was reported by Bu Kun.

According to reports, on January 9 this year, local police received information that an automated photo and video speed enforcement device installed on the Asaka–Marhamat road had been damaged and stolen by unknown individuals.

Operational search measures later established that the crime had been committed by three underage individuals.

They reportedly struck the speed camera with a wooden object, knocked it down, and then threw it into a canal.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 169, Part 2 (a) of the Criminal Code (Theft), and investigative actions are currently underway.

It is worth noting that earlier, a man was detained in the city of Andijan for firing a pneumatic rifle at 52 speed cameras.
