Scooter driver dies after being hit by Cobalt in Khorezm (video)

A Cobalt car collided with a scooter carrying its driver, resulting in the driver’s death on September 23, in the Khorezm region. This was reported by the regional department of Internal Affairs.

According to the report, at the 8th kilometer of the D-218 highway in Urgench district, a driver born in 2005 and residing in Ellikkala district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan was driving a Cobalt when he struck a scooter driver crossing the road from right to left, causing a traffic accident. As a result of the injuries sustained, the scooter driver died at the scene.

It was stated that the Urgench district investigative department of the Internal Affairs Office has launched a preliminary investigation into the incident.

It is worth noting that earlier, a horrific traffic accident claimed the lives of two minors in the Syrdarya district of the Syrdarya region. A 15-year-old, who was driving his father’s Lacetti car without permission, lost control of the vehicle at high speed and veered into a roadside ditch. As a result of the accident, two underage passengers in the car died at the scene, while the driver was admitted to the intensive care unit of the district medical association.
