An Uzbekistan Airways flight traveling from Tashkent to Vladivostok, which made an emergency landing in Krasnoyarsk, has departed for its intended destination. This was reported by the press service of Krasnoyarsk International Airport.

“The aircraft departed [from Krasnoyarsk] at 07:11 local time (05:11 Tashkent time),” the statement said.

On January 21, the aircraft made an emergency landing at Krasnoyarsk Airport at 14:46 local time due to technical reasons. According to reports, there were 101 passengers, five crew members, and 16 cabin crew on board the Boeing 767-300. No injuries were reported. The West Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office said the aircraft was temporarily removed from operation. The Krasnoyarsk Transport Prosecutor’s Office is conducting oversight measures to protect passengers’ rights.

Uzbekistan Airways said on its Telegram channel that a reserve Boeing 767-300 aircraft would transport passengers to Vladivostok according to a revised schedule.

“In accordance with the Air Code of the Russian Federation and Federal Aviation Regulations, it was not possible to continue the flight along the original route. Therefore, passenger transportation will be carried out on a mandatory basis using a reserve aircraft under an amended schedule,” the statement said. The press service of Krasnoyarsk Airport clarified that the aircraft flew to Tashkent, where passengers are required to undergo customs procedures.

The Krasnoyarsk Investigative Department of the Russian Investigative Committee is conducting a preliminary inquiry under Article 263 of the Criminal Code, which concerns violations of safety rules for air transport operations and use.
