Mirziyoyev departs for the US

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, departed today, September 20, on a working visit to New York to take part in the 80th anniversary session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Presidential press service reported.
According to the report, the Head of State will deliver a speech on the opening day of the General Debate of the General Assembly. He is also scheduled to hold talks with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, as well as a number of foreign heads of state and government.
In addition, within the framework of the summit, meetings with the heads of leading international financial institutions, as well as events with the participation of top US companies and investment structures, are planned.
