Azerbaijan will be accepted as a full member of the Consultative Meetings of Central Asian Heads of State. This was announced on 16 November by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Tashkent summit.
Delivering his speech at the Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated that the leaders of the participating countries are adopting a principled decision to accept the Republic of Azerbaijan as a full member of the Consultative Meetings format.
According to the head of state, this strategic step fully serves the interests of nations united by a shared history, close fraternal ties, and deep spiritual and cultural affinity.
