An electric car catches fire in Tashkent, one person hospitalized

On July 2, an electric car caught fire in the Yangihayot district of Tashkent, resulting in one person being hospitalized with burn injuries. The incident was reported by the capital’s Emergency Situations Department.

According to the report, at 04:07, the Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations received information about a fire involving an electric car behind house No. 13 in Dostlik-2, Yangihayot district. Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene at 04:13, and the fire was fully extinguished by 04:25.

It was confirmed that one individual sustained burn injuries and was hospitalized as a result of the incident. The cause of the fire and the amount of material damage are currently under investigation.

It should be noted that a similar incident occurred earlier in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, where a Lacetti vehicle caught fire. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities in that case.
