Uzbekistan defeats the Netherlands in second training match

Uzbekistan’s national football team played a second training match against the Netherlands on the night of June 8-9. Uzbekistan won the match 2-1.

The match was held behind closed doors after the main game by mutual agreement between the sides, with each half lasting 30 minutes.

Azizbek Omonov and Avazbek Olmasaliyev scored for Uzbekistan.

The main match between the two national teams ended in a 2-1 victory for the European side. The Dutch initially created several dangerous attacks but failed to convert their chances. However, in the 32nd minute, the Netherlands were awarded a penalty after a foul by Jahongir Orozov, and Cody Gakpo converted it to open the scoring.

Igor Sergeyev equalized in the 90+2nd minute, during added time in the second half. However, near the end of the match, in the 90+8th minute, Gakpo completed his brace and secured victory for his team.
