Uzbekistan is studying Russia’s experience in taxing bloggers, the State Tax Committee reported.
According to the statement, a delegation from the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan is in Moscow to exchange experience with Russian counterparts. On the first day of the visit, the parties discussed issues related to exercising tax control over the income of bloggers and other individuals operating on the internet.
In particular, special attention was paid to establishing close cooperation with the media community in order to promote the tax service brand, increase transparency, and strengthen public trust.
In addition, the Russian side presented its practice of introducing a service-oriented approach in the activities of tax authorities. This includes creating convenient services for taxpayers, establishing effective interaction with them, and simplifying existing procedures.
“The exchange of experience will help study advanced solutions and consider the possibility of applying them in the future activities of Uzbekistan’s tax authorities,” the statement said.
