What will the weather be like over the weekend?

Dry weather is expected across most of Uzbekistan on June 6-7, according to a forecast released by Uzhydromet.

According to the forecast, no precipitation is expected in most parts of the country on June 6-7. Brief rain and thunderstorms are possible only in some areas of the Fergana Valley regions on June 6 and in parts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan on June 7. Temperatures will gradually rise during these days, reaching 34-37 degrees Celsius during the day on Sunday. The wind will blow at 7-12 m/s, strengthening to 13-18 m/s in some places and possibly accompanied by dust storms in certain areas. In the northern part of the country, wind speeds may increase to 20-22 m/s on June 7.

In foothill and mountainous areas, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected in some places on June 5-7. Mudflows and flash floods may occur.

No precipitation is expected in Tashkent on Saturday and Sunday. Daytime temperatures will be 30-32 degrees Celsius on Saturday and 34-36 degrees on Sunday. The wind will blow at 3-8 m/s, occasionally strengthening to 10-12 m/s and possibly accompanied by dust storms in some parts of the city.
