Uzbekistan wins gold medal at EXPO 2025

At the EXPO World Exhibition held in Japan, Uzbekistan’s pavilion was awarded the top prize in its category. The news was announced by Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan and the eldest daughter of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on her social media page.

According to her, Uzbekistan won the gold medal in the nomination ’’Best interpretation of the theme’’ at the EXPO 2025 world exhibition held in Osaka, Japan.

’’In the concept we presented, ’’The garden of knowledge: A laboratory for the society of the future’’, the harmony between traditions and innovations is vividly reflected. Our idea has received wide recognition within the global community. I sincerely express my gratitude to the entire team for their inspiring professionalism and dedication to this project, as well as to our international partners for their support,’’ Mirziyoyeva wrote.

Saida Mirziyoyeva attended the EXPO-2025 exhibition held in Japan in May of this year. She emphasized that Uzbekistan envisions its future in sustainable development, education, and innovation in her opening speech. 

It is worth noting that earlier, Uzbek students won three bronze medals at the 64th International Mathematical Olympiad held in Japan.
