New deputy appointed to the Minister of preschool and school education

Azizbek Anvarjonovich Turdiyev has been appointed deputy Minister of preschool and school education of Uzbekistan, the ministry’s press service reported.

Before his appointment, Azizbek Turdiyev served as an adviser to the Minister of preschool and school education.

Turdiyev began his career in the education sector. From 2006 to 2010, he worked at school no. 4 in Tashkent, and from 2010 to 2014, he taught literature at school no. 231 in Tashkent.

Between 2015 and 2017, he served as Deputy Director for spiritual and educational affairs at school no. 165 in Tashkent. In 2017–2018, he worked as a leading specialist at the Department of Culture, Arts and Youth Policy of the Cabinet of Ministers’ Information and Analytical Department. From 2018 to 2019, he was a senior adviser in the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, and from 2019 to 2023, he worked as chief adviser in the Committee on youth, culture, and sports of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

Since 2023, Turdiyev has also led the CIS joint project ’’Commonwealth children” and the project “Orienting youth toward entrepreneurship and industry’’.
