Uzbekistan's President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will join other dignitaries at the Victory Parade on May 9, according to the Kremlin's press service.
The distinguished guests at the military parade commemorating the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 include Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, Qosim-Jomart Toqayev of Kazakhstan, Sadir Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez of Cuba, Tongloun Sisulit of Laos, and Sisoku Embalo of Guinea-Bissau.
“The heads of state, along with Putin, will also participate in a ceremony to lay flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier,” stated the report.
