Mirziyoyev visits Russia

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is scheduled to embark on a business trip to Moscow on May 8-9, as announced by the President's press service.
"Mirziyoyev will participate in the upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and attend commemorative events marking the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War as an observer, upon the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin" the report said.
The itinerary includes various bilateral meetings during the visit.
Notably, President Vladimir Putin has also invited leaders from several other countries to participate in the parade, including Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, Qosim-Jomart Toqayev of Kazakhstan, Sadir Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan, Miguel Dias-Canel Bermudez of Cuba, Tongloun Sisulit of Laos, and Umaru Sissoko Embalo of Guinea-Bissau.
