Uzbekistan ranks near bottom in World Cup kit ranking

ESPN has ranked the home, away and third kits of the 48 national teams participating in the World Cup. Uzbekistan’s home kit was placed 103rd in the list of 105 kits.
According to the outlet, this year’s kits feature more designs inspired by folk art, famous architectural landmarks, local culture, national flags, traditional fabrics, wildlife and even the works of surrealist artists.
In the ranking, the national team kits were assessed based on their appearance and design appeal.
Uzbekistan’s white home kit was ranked 103rd, while its away kit was placed 84th.
The authors also noted that the two Uzbekistan kits are almost identical in terms of design, with the main difference being only the color choice.
Uruguay’s away kit topped the list. Japan and France took second and third place, respectively, with their away kits.
