A 40-year-old Uzbek woman lost her life in Aris, Kazakhstan, due to a gas cylinder explosion at a bakery, as reported by "Kazinform."

The second Uzbek citizen affected by the explosion is currently in intensive care, grappling with 30 percent burns across his body.

Talgat Tojimetov, the head of the surgery department at Aris Central District Hospital, stated, "On January 17, around 1:50 p.m., two Uzbek citizens were admitted to the hospital, both suffering burns. The man sustained 30 percent burns, while the woman had 70 percent burns. Tragically, on January 18, the woman succumbed to her injuries."

The incident occurred on January 17, engulfing around two hundred square meters of the bakery and store. It was revealed that one of the cylinders, situated near the fire, rapidly heated up, expanded, and ultimately exploded.

Upon reaching the fire site, rescuers discovered two additional 50-liter gas cylinders and an equal number of 25-liter cylinders removed from the bakery.
