Mirziyoyev is expected to go to Turkey in June

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will visit Turkey this year upon the invitation of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This was reported by the source QALAMPIR.UZ.

The visit is planned for June of this year. As part of the visit, the next meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council will be held under the chairmanship of the Presidents.

Vice President of the Republic of Turkey, Javdat Yilmaz, who arrived in Uzbekistan yesterday, May 1, confirmed in an interview with QALAMPIR.UZ that the next meeting of the Uzbekistan-Turkey Strategic Cooperation Council will be held in June.

For information, Shavkat Mirziyoyev last visited Turkey on an official visit in February 2020. Recep Tayyip Erdogan made an official visit to Uzbekistan in March 2022. In past years, the leaders of the two countries held about 10 meetings under various pretexts, including events and summits of international organizations.
