A man beats his 25-year-old wife to death in Jizzakh

A woman's body was discovered in a house within the Sharof Rashidov district of the Jizzakh region. Her husband is a suspect in the murder, as reported on the "Millar" program.
According to relatives, the couple had frequent arguments throughout their marriage.
"Their disputes persisted. In 2022, a significant conflict led her to move back to her parents' house, and a restraining order was issued. We're unsure of the specifics of her death, but her three-year-old son mentioned his father hitting her with a stick," the sister of the deceased stated.
A local women's activist also weighed in, describing the deceased as diligent in maintaining a clean home. She speculated that jealousy might have caused the tragedy.
Investigations revealed that the suspect repeatedly struck his wife, causing physical harm, before ultimately strangling her to death. The victim, born in 1999, lost her life.
The regional prosecutor's office has launched a criminal investigation into the incident, with ongoing efforts to gather more information.
