Uzhydromet issues urgent weather update

Uzhydromet has published weather data for February 24-26.  

According to the forecast, the weather in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region will be slightly cloudy. Snowfall is expected in some areas on February 24-25, while no precipitation is forecast for February 26. Fog may form in some places. The westerly wind will shift direction and blow at a speed of 7-12 m/s, increasing to 15-20 m/s in some areas on February 25. Temperatures will range from 3-8 degrees below zero at night on February 24-25, dropping to 4-9 degrees below zero on February 26. During the day, temperatures will be between 3 degrees below zero and 2 degrees above zero.  

In the Bukhara and Navoi regions, the weather will be slightly cloudy. On February 24, precipitation, including snow, is expected in some places, while occasional snowfall is forecast for February 25-26. Precipitation may be heavy in certain areas from February 24-26. Fog may form in some places. The wind will blow from the west at a speed of 7-12 m/s, increasing to 15-20 m/s in some areas on February 25. Temperatures on February 24 will range from 0-5 degrees Celsius at night and 5-10 degrees Celsius during the day. On February 25, nighttime temperatures will be between 2 degrees below zero and 3 degrees above zero, with daytime temperatures reaching 0-5 degrees Celsius. On February 26, temperatures will range from 2-7 degrees Celsius at night and between 2 degrees below zero and 3 degrees above zero during the day. In the northern part of the Navoi region, temperatures will be between 3-8 degrees Celsius at night on February 24-25, dropping to 4-9 degrees below zero on February 26, with daytime temperatures ranging from 3 degrees below zero to 2 degrees above zero.  

The weather in Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions will be slightly cloudy. Rainfall is expected in some areas on February 24, turning to snow in some places by the evening of February 25. On February 26, snowfall is expected in some areas. Precipitation may be heavy in certain places from February 24-26. Fog may form in some places. The wind will blow from the west at a speed of 7-12 m/s, increasing to 15-20 m/s on February 25-26, and may reach 23-25 m/s in some areas. Temperatures on February 24 will be between 5-10 degrees Celsius at night and 12-17 degrees Celsius during the day. On February 25, nighttime temperatures will range from 2-7 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures between 8-13 degrees Celsius. On February 26, nighttime temperatures will be between 2 degrees below zero and 3 degrees above zero, while daytime temperatures will range from 0-5 degrees Celsius.  

The weather in Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions will be slightly cloudy. Rain is expected in some places on February 24, continuing in some areas on February 25 before turning to snow in the evening. Snowfall is expected in some areas on February 26. Precipitation may be heavy in certain places from February 24-26. Fog may form in some places. The wind will blow from the west at a speed of 7-12 m/s, increasing to 15-20 m/s on February 25-26, and may reach 23-25 m/s in some areas. On February 24, temperatures will be between 5-10 degrees Celsius at night and 10-15 degrees Celsius during the day. On February 25, nighttime temperatures will range from 2-7 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures between 8-13 degrees Celsius. On February 26, nighttime temperatures will be between 2 degrees below zero and 3 degrees above zero, while daytime temperatures will range from 0-5 degrees Celsius.  

The weather in Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions will be slightly cloudy. No precipitation is expected on February 24-25, but some areas may experience rain and snow on February 26. Fog may form in some places. The east wind will change direction and blow from the west at a speed of 5-10 m/s, increasing to 15-20 m/s on February 25-26, and may reach 23-25 m/s on February 26. On February 24, temperatures will be between 2-7 degrees Celsius at night and 15-20 degrees Celsius during the day. On February 25, nighttime temperatures will range from 2-7 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures between 10-15 degrees Celsius. On February 26, nighttime temperatures will be between 0-5 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will range from 3-8 degrees Celsius.  

In the mountainous regions of the republic, the weather will be slightly cloudy, with rain and snow expected in some places on February 24. Occasional snowfall is expected on February 25-26. Precipitation may be heavy in certain places from February 24-26. Fog may form in some places. The wind will blow from the west at a speed of 7-12 m/s, increasing to 13-18 m/s in some areas on February 25-26. On February 24, temperatures will be between 0-5 degrees Celsius at night and 7-12 degrees Celsius during the day. On February 25, nighttime temperatures will range from 0-5 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures between 3-8 degrees Celsius. On February 26, temperatures will remain between 0-5 degrees Celsius both at night and during the day.
