An Uzbek woman's corpse was found in India, with initial reports circulating on social media about the incident at a Sonipat resort in Haryana. The "Dunyo" Agency of Information has verified this information.

Following the widespread news of the unfortunate event, the Uzbekistan Embassy in Delhi promptly contacted the Sonipat police and dispatched a team to investigate the incident on-site.

Through collaborative efforts with local law enforcement, the deceased, identified as 32-year-old Fergana M.A., is believed to have been poisoned by carbon monoxide, along with another individual. Ongoing urgent investigations and medical examinations aim to establish the precise causes of the tragedy.

The diplomatic mission has assumed control over the investigation, informing the close relatives of the deceased. Consular and legal procedures have been completed, and efforts are underway to swiftly repatriate the deceased's body to Uzbekistan.
