Entrance tests begin for the 2025–2026 academic year

Today, July 14, entrance tests for admission to higher and vocational education institutions for the 2025–2026 academic year have begun across all regions of Uzbekistan. The Agency reported this for the Knowledge and Qualifications Assessment.
Tests will be held daily in two shifts:
- 1st shift – from 08:00 to 11:00
- 2nd shift – from 15:00 to 18:00
Applicants must arrive at the testing site with their original passport (ID card) and applicant’s permit at least one hour before the test begins:
- For the 1st shift: by 07:30
- For the 2nd shift: by 14:30
After passing security checks, applicants must be seated before the exam starts. Those who arrive with a photocopy of a passport, any other documents, or arrive late will not be allowed to take the test.
The entire testing process will be conducted under full video surveillance and will be available for online monitoring via the website test2025.uz.
According to official information, over 70,000 applicants are expected to participate in the exams, which are being held in 65 large venues throughout Uzbekistan, in two daily shifts. The testing period will last from July 14 to July 23—a total of 10 days.
It should be recalled that earlier reports indicated 732,411 applicants had registered online for bachelor’s degree programs at higher education institutions for the 2025–2026 academic year.
