An earthquake that occurred in Afghanistan was also felt in Uzbekistan, according to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring.
The earthquake struck on February 13 at 03:12 a.m. The epicenter was located 763 km southwest of Tashkent. The magnitude was 5.5, and the depth was 100 km. The epicenter was in Wardak, Afghanistan, at coordinates 34.45° north latitude and 68.21° east longitude.
