Today, January 12, several streets in Tashkent will be temporarily closed in connection with a ceremonial march held to mark the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and Defender of the Motherland Day. The Ministry of Defense reported this.
According to the ministry, the ceremonial foot march of military units will begin at 11:00 near the University of Military Security and Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan (landmark: Pushkin metro station) and will continue until 13:00.

The military units will first move from the starting point along Parkent and Mustaqillik streets, heading toward Amir Temur Square. At the stop near the square, demonstrative performances by the honor guard unit and hand-to-hand combat specialists will be held, along with displays of combat drills and a military orchestra parade. After that, the units will return to their destination via Mustaqillik and Temiryol streets.
On January 12, traffic on the above-mentioned streets will be temporarily restricted from 11:00 to 13:00.
