Financial assistance provided to family of citizen who drowned in Borijar

On May 5 of this year, 50 million soums were granted to the wife of 43-year-old Abdumannop Samikov, who drowned in the Borijar canal in Tashkent. Additionally, 25 million soums were given to Nurmuhammad Mamasaliev, an employee of the Borijar sports complex, who sacrificed himself while rescuing the girls. This was reported by the Tashkent city administration.

According to the report, in accordance with a decree signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on June 3, a ceremony was held at the capital’s administration to award the “Jasorat” medal to the late Abdumannop Samikov and Nurmuhammad Mamasaliev. The event was attended by the mayor of Tashkent, Shavkat Umurzakov, First Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Sanjar Zufarov, deputies, media representatives, and relatives of the awardees.
During the ceremony, 50 million soums were handed over to the spouse of the deceased, and 25 million soums to Nurmuhammad Mamasaliev.
It is worth recalling that earlier, the President issued a decree to honor the citizen who lost his life while saving the drowning girls in Borijar.
