The percentage of the population engaged in sports in Uzbekistan has been revealed. The information was provided by the National Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, from January to August 2025, 71.9% of men engaged in physical activities, while the share of women was 64.1%.
The trend in sports participation among men over the years is as follows:
- In 2021 — 66%
- In 2022 — 67.3%
- In 2023 — 68.8%
- In 2024 — 71.7%
- In 2025 — 71.9%
Among women, the figures were:
- In 2021 — 55.7%
- In 2022 — 57.3%
- In 2023 — 58.5%
- In 2024 — 63.7%
- In 2025 — 64.1%
