The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum effective from December 23.
According to the bank, the US dollar rose by 14.29 soums to 12,010.43 soums.
The euro also increased by 37.15 soums and was set at 14,088.23 soums.
The Russian ruble climbed by 2.71 soums to 151.25 soums.
The Chinese yuan gained 2.95 soums, reaching 1,706.75 soums.
The price of gold rose by 17,700 soums per gram to 1,743,600 soums.
According to TradingView data, as of 4:00 p.m. Tashkent time on December 22, the price of bitcoin had increased by 20,066,074 soums to 1,077,765,390 soums.
