Uzbek girl makes debut on Britain’s Got Talent

For the first time, an участник from Uzbekistan has taken part in the globally renowned Britain’s Got Talent. Eleven-year-old Yasmina Husniddinova performed during the audition stage held in Blackpool, the Ministry of Culture reported.
According to the statement, Yasmina is a fifth-grade student in the pop vocal department at Children’s Music and Arts School No. 1 in Tashkent. She received four “yes” votes from the judges, advancing to the next stage of the competition.
During her performance, she sang “Never Enough” from the film The Greatest Showman.
One of the judges, Amanda Holden, praised her performance, saying, “The power of your voice and the way you control it is simply incredible.”
Judge Alesha Dixon noted that she particularly liked the contrast between the low and high tones in Yasmina’s performance, describing it as a smart choice that made the rendition both delicate and highly expressive.
For reference, Yasmina Husniddinova is also the Grand Prix winner of the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk 2024 held in Belarus. She also won the Grand Prix at the prestigious San Junior International Contest in Italy, competing against representatives from 25 countries. In addition, she is the 2024 winner of the national “Youth Voice – Bo‘zatov Fest” competition, organized on the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan.
