Three officials from the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been dismissed from their posts. This was announced on July 25 by the President’s press secretary, Sherzod Asadov.
According to the presidential decree, Talat Shukhratovich Valiev has been dismissed from his position as Deputy Secretary of the Security Council for Public Security. He had held this post since 2022.

Additionally, by order of the Presidential Administration, Bakhodir Bakhtiyorovich Mahmudov was relieved of his duties as Head of the Department for Ensuring the Implementation of International Obligations in the Field of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Cooperation. Shovkiddin Abduvalievich Karshiev was also dismissed from his role as Chief Consultant of the Department for Ensuring State Border Security and Protection of Territories from Emergency Situations.
It is worth noting that last month, a presidential decree introduced changes to the structure of the Presidential Administration, including the establishment of the position of Head of the Presidential Administration. Saida Shavkatovna Mirziyoyeva was appointed to the newly created post. Earlier this month, advisors, representatives, and deputies to the Head of the Presidential Administration were also appointed.
