Ali Niyazimbetov, the author of the song "Azizim," has appealed to the Ministry of Justice requesting the restoration of his copyright. This was reported by the Department of Intellectual Property under the Ministry.

It was revealed that Niyazimbetov, known for his song "Azizim," took legal action because the musical work was performed without his permission. The Ministry of Justice examined his appeal.

During the investigation, it was found that the song "Azizim," performed by well-known artists Manzura and Murodjon Yuldashev, was used without the author’s consent. As a result, administrative offense reports were filed against the violators under Article 177¹ of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (violation of copyright and related rights) and sent to the appropriate court.

The Yunusobod District Criminal Court imposed a fine of 375,000 sums (equivalent to one basic calculation amount) on Murodjon Yuldashev, in accordance with the first part of Article 177¹ of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

It should be noted that previously, poet Shohrukh Abduvokhidov, known by the pseudonym "Abdussamiy," filed a complaint against singer Botir Qodirov for performing his poems without paying royalties. According to the decision of the Chilonzor District Criminal Court of Tashkent, Qodirov was fined 3 million sums (eight times the basic calculation amount) in accordance with the second part of Article 177¹ of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
