Rain and snow expected in parts of Uzbekistan on February 9

Uzhydromet has released the weather forecast for February 9, predicting varying conditions across Uzbekistan, including rain, snow, and fog in some regions.  

In Tashkent, the weather will be partly cloudy, with possible precipitation (rain and snow) and fog at night and in the morning. The wind will blow from the west at a speed of 5-10 m/s. Temperatures will range from 2 to 4 degrees Celsius at night to 8 to 10 degrees Celsius during the day.  

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the weather will be partly cloudy, with no expected precipitation. However, fog may form in some areas. The wind will blow from the west at 7-12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will be 2 to 7 degrees Celsius.  

In the Khorezm region, the weather will also be partly cloudy with no expected precipitation. Fog may occur in some places. The wind will blow from the west at 7-12 m/s. Night temperatures will range from 7 to 12 degrees colder, while daytime temperatures will be between 3 degrees colder and 2 degrees warmer.  

In Bukhara and Navoi regions, the weather will be slightly cloudy, with snowfall in some areas at night and in the morning. No precipitation is expected during the day. Fog may occur in some places. The wind will blow from the west at 7-12 m/s, occasionally increasing to 13-18 m/s. Night temperatures will be between 0 and 5 degrees colder, while desert areas will see 10 to 15 degrees colder temperatures at night. Daytime temperatures will be 2 to 7 degrees colder.  

In Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions, the weather will be slightly cloudy, with rain and snow possible at night and in the morning. No precipitation is expected during the day. Fog may form in some areas. The wind will blow from the west at 7-12 m/s, with occasional gusts of 13-18 m/s. Temperatures will be 0 to 5 degrees Celsius at night and 5 to 10 degrees Celsius during the day.  

In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, the weather will be cloudy, with rain and snow in some places at night and in the morning. No precipitation is expected during the day. Fog may occur in certain areas. The wind will blow from the west at 7-12 m/s. Temperatures will be 0 to 5 degrees Celsius at night and 5 to 10 degrees Celsius during the day.  

In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, the weather will be slightly cloudy, with possible rain, snow, and fog in some areas. The wind will shift from the east to the west at 7-12 m/s, occasionally increasing to 13-18 m/s. Temperatures will be 0 to 5 degrees Celsius at night and 5 to 10 degrees Celsius during the day.  

In mountainous regions, the weather will be slightly cloudy, with occasional snowfall and fog. There is a risk of snow drifts in the mountainous areas of Tashkent and Namangan regions. The wind will blow from the west at 7-12 m/s, increasing in some places to 15-20 m/s. Night temperatures will be 2 to 7 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will range from 3 degrees to -2 degrees Celsius. 

It should be noted that due to fluctuating air temperatures, a risk of snow drifts has been declared in the mountainous regions of Tashkent and Namangan from February 8 to 12.
