The Moscow City Court has ruled in favor of the Russian Ministry of Justice, ordering the dissolution of the Uzbek National-Cultural Autonomy regional public organization and its removal from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, according to TASS, citing official court documents.
The ruling states: “The court has decided to dissolve the Uzbek National-Cultural Autonomy in Moscow and remove it from the register of legal entities.”
According to state records, the organization was originally registered in 2015. The Russian Ministry of Justice alleged that the organization was not located at the official address stated in its charter, and its actual location could not be determined. Additionally, authorities found provisions in its charter that violated legal regulations.
Furthermore, the organization failed to submit required reports on its activities, as well as documents detailing its leadership structure, financial transactions, and property usage. Despite multiple warnings from the Ministry of Justice, these requirements were not met, prompting the ministry to file an administrative lawsuit seeking the organization’s dissolution.
