A flight operated by the Russian airline Aeroflot on the Moscow–Denpasar (Indonesia) route made an emergency landing at Tashkent International Airport after a passenger's health condition suddenly worsened. The information was shared by the airline’s press service via its Telegram channel.
"The aircraft's captain decided to divert to Tashkent due to the passenger's rapidly deteriorating condition. Upon landing, the individual was handed over to medical personnel", the report stated.
Aeroflot noted that the plane landed with a large amount of fuel, prompting a required technical inspection. To avoid a prolonged delay, a reserve aircraft was dispatched from Moscow.
The continuation of the flight from Tashkent to Denpasar has been scheduled for April 16 at 10:00 (Tashkent time). In the meantime, the airline provided accommodation, food, and drinks to the passengers.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, a Boeing 737 (RA-73091) aircraft operated by the Russian airline Utair, en route from Samarkand to Moscow, returned to Samarkand airport due to a malfunction in the left engine, which caused severe shaking during ascent.
