Instagram is set to introduce a highly anticipated feature that allows users to rearrange posts on their profiles, according to a report by Rozetked.

Users will now be able to manually reorder their posts without being limited by the original publication date or sequence. This new functionality is part of Instagram’s "Anyway" initiative, which aims to support content creators by reducing the pressure to post “perfect” content and encouraging more creative freedom.

The feature will allow post rearrangement through a simple drag-and-drop function. Users can access this option by clicking the “Edit Profile” button, which will activate the new “Arrange” mode for posts.

The update is expected to roll out in the coming weeks.

Another feature being introduced is the ability to share currently playing Spotify tracks on Instagram. The music will update in real time, and followers will be able to play the song directly through a link.

Meta emphasized that these features are a response to user feedback and are designed to make the platform more dynamic and user-friendly.

In a separate update, Instagram previously announced that users under the age of 16 will now need parental permission before initiating a live broadcast on the platform.
