Rare photo: President’s official car from the 1990s unveiled

On April 23, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Mirzo Ulugbek District of Tashkent. During the visit, his official service car from the period when he served as district governor was put on display.
The president used the GAZ Volga between 1992 and 1996, when he was governor of the Mirzo Ulugbek District of the capital. The vehicle is now preserved as a museum exhibit.

In addition, the historical office where Shavkat Mirziyoyev worked during his tenure as district governor has been restored.
During the visit to Mirzo Ulugbek District, the president reviewed the activities of the district administration, as well as ongoing development and infrastructure improvement projects.
