Artikhodjaev elected to new position in Corporate Sports Association

The Corporate Sports Association of Uzbekistan has been officially established with the participation of representatives from both the public and private sectors, leaders of sports organizations, and over 200 entrepreneurs employing approximately 170,000 people. According to "UzA", former Tashkent mayor Jahongir Artikhodjaev has been elected as the First Deputy Chairman of the newly formed association.

As reported, Davron Vakhobov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was elected Chairman of the association. Shukhrat Ergashev, Chairman of the Board of Directors at International Beverages Tashkent LLC, was named Deputy Chairman.

During the founding meeting, participants highlighted the importance of developing and promoting corporate sports. Emphasis was placed on the role of the association in systematically organizing sporting events among entrepreneurs and identifying talented young athletes through these competitions.
