Pharmacy burns down in Rishtan (video)

A fire broke out at a pharmacy in Rishtan district, Fergana region, today, June 11, the Fergana Regional Department of Emergency Situations reported.

According to the department, at 3:47 a.m., it received a report through the 112 system about a fire at a pharmacy located on Ar-Roshidoniy Street in the Anhor bo‘yi mahalla of Rishtan district, Fergana region.

Four rescue units arrived at the scene at 3:51 a.m. The fire was contained at 3:56 a.m. and extinguished at 4:04 a.m.

As a result of the fire, the interior and roof of the pharmacy over an area of 40 square meters burned and were damaged. The roof of the Rishtan district multidisciplinary polyclinic, located near the pharmacy, was also damaged over an area of 70 square meters.

No information was provided about citizens injured in the fire. The cause of the fire and the amount of damage are currently being determined.
