Nexia swept away by floodwaters in Samarkand (video)

A strong mudflow observed in Kattakurgan district of Samarkand region on May 21 swept away a Nexia car. The regional Department of Emergency Situations reported this.
According to the department, heavy rainfall was observed in the district. As a result, the water level rose, and a Nexia-2 car that attempted to cross floodwaters flowing across an internal road in the Jismonsoy mahalla became trapped in the current.
Rescuers from the Department of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene and moved both the citizen and the vehicle to a safe area.
The citizen did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident.
Earlier, severe mudflows hit three districts of Navoi region. Residents of four villages were evacuated, and several vehicles were swept away.
