On December 17, 2025, Abdulgani Sanginov, who had been appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, held a meeting with the heads of oil depots and responsible officials. As a result of the meeting, the heads of four oil depots were dismissed from their positions. This was reported by Uzbekneftegaz Press Secretary Mumin Ibodov on his Telegram channel.

It was noted that the meeting discussed issues related to improving the operational performance of oil depots, strengthening financial and disciplinary oversight, optimizing the tax burden, creating decent working conditions for employees, and increasing average wages.

“Based on the results of the conducted review, the heads of the Termez, Jizzakh, Maroqand, and Kuchlik oil depots were relieved of their positions due to serious shortcomings committed over the course of the year,” the statement said.

It is worth noting that on December 18, 2025, Uzbekneftegaz JSC signed a contract worth $5 million with Ballard Partners, a company reportedly close to US President Donald Trump.
