Shavkat Mirziyoyev awards a group of geologists

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has awarded a group of employees in Uzbekistan’s geology sector on the occasion of Geology Workers’ Day. The relevant presidential decree has been signed.

According to the decree, the following individuals have been honored for their many years of effective work in the country’s geology sector, their major contributions to the development of geological research and exploration, the identification of strategically important mineral resources, the development of new deposits and raw material reserves using modern technologies, the training of highly qualified personnel, the improvement of their professional capacity, and the upbringing of young people in the spirit of patriotism and devotion to the homeland.

The honorary title “Honored Geologist of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was awarded to:

• Tolibjon Xoliyorovich Mo‘minov, chief geologist of the Zirabuloq Geological Exploration Expedition of the state enterprise Navoiyuran;
• Elmurod Hasanovich Ergashev, deputy chairman of the board and chief geologist of Uzbek Geology Exploration joint-stock company.

The Mehnat Shuhrati Order was awarded to:

• Rahmonali Azimovich Nuraliyev, driller at the drilling section of the Tashkent Central Geological Exploration Expedition of Uzbek Geology Exploration joint-stock company;
• G‘ulom Yallaqobilov, leading hydrogeologist of the Central Uzbekistan Field Hydrogeological Expedition of the state institution Uzbekhydrogeology.

The Do‘stlik Order was awarded to:

• Aleksandr Nikolayevich Bogdanov, head of the laboratory for petroleum and gas field geology and assessment of prospective sites at the Institute of Geology and Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields;
• Nosir Egamovich Shukurov, head of the geochemistry laboratory at the H. Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics.

The Shuhrat Medal was awarded to:

• Shaxobiddin Paxritdinovich Oripov, expert of the State Commission on Mineral Reserves under the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan;
• Sherali Izatilloyevich Jo‘rayev, director for geology and exploration at the state enterprise Navoiyuran;
• Ilhom Matazimovich Zoirov, heavy truck driver at the Automobile and Technological Transport branch of Uzbekko‘mir joint-stock company;
• Hamza Qahhorovich Sayitov, bulldozer operator at the Samarkand Central Geological Exploration Expedition of Uzbek Geology Exploration joint-stock company.
