Shavkat Mirziyoyev also congratulates Nursultan Nazarbayev on the New Year

On December 29, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the press service of the Uzbek leader reported.

According to the statement, at the beginning of the conversation, the President of Uzbekistan and the First President of Kazakhstan warmly congratulated each other on the upcoming New Year and conveyed their wishes of peace, stability, and prosperity to the peoples of the brotherly nations.

“The high level reached in the relations of friendship, good-neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan was noted with particular satisfaction, as well as the consistent development of multifaceted cooperation across all priority areas,” the statement said.

It is worth recalling that earlier Shavkat Mirziyoyev had also congratulated the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on the New Year.

It should also be noted that on December 27 this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The Russian leader received the former Kazakh president at the Kremlin Palace. Details of the talks were not disclosed.
