Prime ministers of the OTS gathered in Baku

On April 2, a meeting of the prime ministers of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States was held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. This was reported by Report.
According to the report, the meeting was the second gathering of the heads of government of the Organization of Turkic States and took place at the Gulustan Palace in Baku.
The event was attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev, Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Unal Ustel, and Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
During the meeting, participants discussed expanding economic cooperation and developing the transport and logistics sectors. A joint statement was also adopted at the end of the meeting.
It is worth noting that the first meeting of the heads of government of the Organization of Turkic States was held in Kyrgyzstan on September 18, 2025.
Earlier, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov took part in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States.
