Due to worsening weather conditions, the Tashkent city administration has issued a public warning, noting the potential for downed power lines, falling trees, and elevated dust levels in the air.
Residents are urged to take the following precautions:
- Avoid parking vehicles under trees or near power lines;
- Limit time spent outdoors, particularly for individuals with allergies or respiratory conditions;
- Exercise caution when moving around the city;
- Take measures to protect personal property.
In the event of an emergency, citizens are advised to contact the following numbers: 1050, 1055, (71) 212-69-80, or (71) 212-69-82.
It is worth noting that on May 17, a strong dust storm was recorded in Tashkent. The concentration of PM 2.5 fine particulate matter in the air reached 44.95 µg/m³, which is 1.28 times above the permissible limit.
