Some streets in Tashkent to be temporarily closed

Several streets in Tashkent will be temporarily closed due to the Uzbekistan Duathlon Championship and the “International Tashkent Marathon – 2026,” the city administration reported.
According to the announcement, vehicle traffic will be temporarily restricted on the following streets:
From 08:00 to 12:00 on March 28:
- Yangi Uzbekistan Street — from the area in front of CAU University to Parkent Highway.

From 16:00 on April 3 to 14:00 on April 5:
- Afrosiyob Street — from the intersection with I. Karimov Street to the intersection with Beshyogoch Street.

From 02:00 to 13:00 on April 5:
- Beshyogoch Street — from the intersection with Furqat Street to the intersection with I. Karimov Street;
- Afrosiyob Street — from the intersection with I. Karimov Street to the intersection with Sh. Rashidov Street;
- Sh. Rashidov Street — from the intersection with Afrosiyob Street to the intersection with I. Karimov Street;
- Afrosiyob Street — from the intersection with Sh. Rashidov Street to the intersection with Shahrisabz Street;
- Shahrisabz Street — from the intersection with Afrosiyob Street to the intersection with A. Temur Shoh Street;
- Oybek Street — from the intersection with Shahrisabz Street to the intersection with Nukus Street;
- Nukus Street — from the intersection with Oybek Street to the intersection with Istiqbol Street;
- Abdulla Qodiriy Street — from the intersection with Istiqbol Street to the intersection with Abay Street.

Drivers are advised to take these restrictions into account and plan their routes in advance.
