New mayor appointed to Toylak district

Today, August 5, Behzod Rahmatullaevich Rahmatullayev was appointed mayor of the Toylak district in the Samarkand region, UzA reports.
An extraordinary session of the Toylak District Council of People’s Deputies was held earlier today. The session, attended by the acting mayor of the Samarkand region, Adiz Boboev, also saw the dismissal of Bakhodir Kadirovich Bobonazarov, who had been heading the district since 2018. He stepped down from his post at his own request.
Behzod Rahmatullayev, who previously served as the head of the organizational and personnel group of the Samarkand regional government, was appointed in his place.
It should be noted that earlier today, Shunkor Farmonovich Khudoiberdiev was appointed mayor of the Payarik district of the same region.
