Another Uzbek fraudster arrested in Turkey

A citizen of Uzbekistan, accused of committing fraud and causing significant financial damage, has been arrested in Turkey. The arrest was reported by the Consulate General in Istanbul.
Akhmadkhon Yuldashkhon ugli Ibragimov, born in 1991, was apprehended during a joint operation by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Turkey and Uzbekistan. He had been wanted by the Uzbek Ministry of Internal Affairs since 2023. Following his arrest, Ibragimov was deported to Tashkent.
Citizens affected by Ibragimov’s actions are encouraged to contact the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, or the relevant local police departments.
Earlier, a man who had been on the run since 2015 for committing numerous frauds in the car trade sector in Uzbekistan was also arrested in Turkey.
