Students can now apply for transfer to state universities in Uzbekistan

Applications for the transfer of studies from foreign and non-state higher education institutions to state universities in Uzbekistan have officially begun. The announcement was made by the Agency for the Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications.

Online applications are now being accepted for transfers from the following institutions to relevant and related academic programs at state higher education institutions:

•  Foreign higher education institutions
•  Non-state higher education institutions operating in Uzbekistan
•  Branches of foreign universities located in Uzbekistan

Applications for transfers from foreign institutions will be accepted from July 15 to August 5 via the “Transfer of studies (foreign and non-state)” section on the website my.uzbmb.uz.

However, authorities emphasized that students are not permitted to transfer from foreign universities to unrelated academic areas at state universities in Uzbekistan. Transfers must align with the student’s current field of study.

Meanwhile, transfers between state higher education institutions within Uzbekistan are managed separately and should be submitted through the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations at transfer.edu.uz.
