A group of Uzbek artists was awarded the highest titles of Azerbaijan within the framework of the Days of Culture of Uzbekistan held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

In August of last year, the President of the country, Ilhom Aliev, signed a decree awarding People's Artist of Uzbekistan, Nasiba Abdullaeva, with the title of People's Artist of Azerbaijan, and also awarding People's Artists of Uzbekistan, Abduhoshim Ismailov and Kamoliddin Orinboev, with the Order of Friendship.

Today, on August 3, a ceremony dedicated to handing over these awards to the recipients was held. Ministers of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov and Odil Karimli took part in it.

While presenting the awards, Minister Odil Karimli said that this recognizes the culture and art of Uzbekistan and demonstrates the attention given to all artists from Uzbekistan.

Let's remind ourselves that in August 2022, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, also signed a decree awarding the People's Artist of Azerbaijan, Gudyanok Mammedova, with the title of People's Artist of Uzbekistan.
