Top destinations for Uzbek travelers revealed

The National Statistics Committee has revealed which countries Uzbek citizens visited the most.

According to the data, from January to August 2025, nearly 5.2 million Uzbek citizens traveled abroad for tourism purposes, an increase of about 1.1 million people (26.8%) compared to the same period last year.

The countries most visited by Uzbeks during the first eight months of this year were as follows:

• Kyrgyz Republic — 2.3 million;
• Kazakhstan — 956 thousand;
• Tajikistan — 887.9 thousand;
• Russia — 312.7 thousand;
• Turkey — 181.7 thousand;
• Saudi Arabia — 165.7 thousand;
• UAE — 94.2 thousand;
• Egypt — 45.4 thousand;
• Vietnam — 28.5 thousand;
• China — 27.6 thousand;
• Other countries — 162.4 thousand.

It is worth noting that earlier it was reported which country sends the most students to Uzbekistan. In the first half of this year, the highest number of foreign students came from India (2,780 students).
