Number of Uzbekistani Grandmasters Increases by One

Uzbek chess player Muhiddin Madaminov fulfilled the final requirement to become a grandmaster by achieving a 2603 performance rating at the "Sharjah Masters 2024" tournament held in the UAE. This was reported by the press service of the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan.
Thus, Madaminov became the 29th Grandmaster of Uzbekistan.
For information, 18-year-old Muhiddin Madaminov was awarded the title of FIDE Master in 2019 and International Chess Master in 2022.
