As the conflict between Iran and Israel continues to intensify, Israeli citizens in Uzbekistan have been issued warnings. This was reported by the Embassy of Israel in Tashkent.

According to the embassy, due to recent developments, Israeli diplomatic representatives in Tashkent are providing necessary assistance to Israeli citizens currently in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Meanwhile, Israel’s National Security Council has called on all Israeli citizens abroad to exercise heightened caution.

Specifically, citizens are advised not to display Jewish or Israeli symbols in public, avoid sharing personal location details on social media, and refrain from attending public events linked to Israel or Judaism. They are also urged to cooperate with local security services and promptly follow any safety instructions issued in the event of a threat. Maintaining vigilance in public areas is strongly recommended.

Israeli nationals in Uzbekistan are also instructed to use only trusted taxi applications and avoid entering random vehicles. In case of emergency, they are advised to immediately contact local law enforcement agencies (Tourist Police – 1173) and report any incident to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ operations center at 02-5303155.

The embassy’s announcement further states that assistance in Russian is available by calling the emergency number +998 93 172 58 00 (Deputy Ambassador and Consul Liron Mizrahi Unger), or through the emergency center of the Native Government Organization at +998 90 054 81 39, including via WhatsApp or Telegram, available 24/7.

It is worth noting that earlier, Uzbek citizens residing in the Islamic Republic of Iran were also urged to strictly follow security measures. Additionally, amid the risk of potential missile strikes on Israeli territory, Uzbeks in Israel have been strongly advised to take immediate precautionary steps.
