Man swept away in Bozsuv canal rescued (video)

A man who was being swept away in the Bozsuv canal in Tashkent region was rescued by emergency workers yesterday, June 19. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this.
According to the ministry, at around 1:00 p.m., rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were carrying out preventive monitoring along the banks of the Bozsuv canal, which flows through the Sharq mahalla of Chirchik city, when they noticed a citizen drifting motionless in the water.
The rescuers immediately entered the water and brought the man to shore. First aid was provided at the scene to the man, who was unconscious. His condition is now said to be stable.
It was established that the citizen had fallen into the canal due to his own carelessness. Since he did not know how to swim, the strong current swept him away.
Earlier, it was reported that three out of six young men who had gone swimming in the Surkhan River, which flows through the Namuna mahalla of Jarkurgan district in Surkhandarya region, drowned and died.
